A CRASHED lorry has once again brought Romsey town to a standstill.
Greatbridge Road was blocked in both directions due to a crashed lorry near Budds Lane which has hit a low bridge.
The crash is the latest in a long line of incidents at the bridge, with the most recent happening less than a month ago.
Police have confirmed the vehicle has now been recovered.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 1.34pm to reports of a lorry hitting a barrier at the bridge on Greatbridge Road. No injuries have been reported and the vehicle has now been recovered."
This comes almost a month after a lorry hit the exact same bridge - taking the tally up to 22 times in 15 years.
