POWER tools were stolen from a van in North Baddesley.

The van was broken into by an unknown person using various drills, an impact driver and a grinder, before they took a collection of hand tools and power tools.

The incident took place some time overnight between 11pm on December 9 and 7:30am on December 10 in Rosslyn Close, North Baddesley.

Officers are now appealing for information regarding the theft and ask anyone who saw anything to call 101 and quote the reference number of 44190443321.

Hampshire Police have reminded people to 'stay vigilant in the run up to Christmas' and to 'protect and secure properties at all times'.
