BASINGSTOKE Town face what looks to be another tough away trip this weekend to in-form Cirencester.

The Gloucestershire side have won their last five games and are currently seventh in the Southern League Division One South table.

Meanwhile, the Dragons have just one win in their last seven outing, but did win at Cirencester earlier this season 3-2 in the FA Trophy.

Last Saturday, Town manager Dan Brownlie had hoped to field the same side which had beaten Bideford, but illness and injury stopped him as D’Andre Brown, Scott Armsworth and Aidan Harris were all ruled out.

The trio are set to return and Brownlie said: "We are looking to bring a few more players this week and will go to Cirencester hoping to repeat our Trophy win, but we know it will not be easy."

On Boxing Day, Town are in action in the first of three Hampshire derby games, when they are at home at Winchester City’s ground to Portsmouth side Moneyfields.

This followed by an away game to Winchester City on January 1 and then they entertain Sholing on January 4.
