Southampton residents are set to spread joy on Boxing Day by handing out warm clothing to the city's homeless population.
A group of volunteers have been collecting various coats, hats, scarves and gloves ready to give out as gifts to some of the most vulnerable people.
This will be handed out between 6pm and 8pm on December 26 across the city to homeless people across Southampton.
Laura Jones, one of the volunteers, said: " I decided due to massive increase in homeless population and scarce services available, I would take some time to try and help a little bit. We all know it can be so cold this time of year and Christmas can be a hard time for so many people, so I thought something as simple as a new coat would help just a little bit!"
