RAIL passengers will face disruption when maintenance work takes place next year.
All railway lines in the Southampton area will be closed all day on Sunday, February 23.
The work, which is being carried out by Network Rail, will affect South Western Railway services on all routes through Southampton Central and the CrossCountry service between Manchester Piccadilly and Bournemouth.
South Western Railway services will run between London Waterloo and Eastleigh.
For South Western Railway passengers, a replacement bus service will operate between Eastleigh and Brockenhurst and Southampton Central and Bournemouth.
While CrossCountry will run buses for passengers between Eastleigh, Southampton Airport Parkway and Bournemouth.
National Rail said the engineering work is taking place between Romsey and Redbridge and also between St Denys and Woolston, closing all lines.
The Lymington branch train service will not be affected by the work.
