A GROUP raised more than £1,000 for a firefighter charity in Romsey town centre.
Members of the Fire Service Preservation Group gathered in Romsey with preserved fire engines to hold a collection in aid of two charities - raising a total of £1,324.95.
They were collecting for the Firefighters Charity and Line of Duty Charity - both charities assist emergency workers in time of need.
These charities were specifically chosen as they have been supporting a member who is a serving Firefighter and is battling Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
They collected the money on December 14.
