A GLASS bottle has been found with an item inside which has been described as a "body part".
A passer by was walking along Castle Lane, North Baddesley when he stumbled across the "shiny"object.
After a closer inspection, he thinks it looks like a "body part" or an "animal part".
It also had a clear liquid inside the bottle, which is assumed to be water.
The passer by, who didn't want to be named, said: "It looked like a body part.
"I have never seen anything like it, I was walking by and something was shining in the bushes.
"I have no idea what it is, I am going to tell the police."
However, keen-eyed readers have noticed its resemblance to a lava lamp.
The glass bottle could be the inside of a lava lamp without the top and bottom on it.
It is believed the cold has caused the contents to deform and create the strange shape which looks like a body part.
A comment on Facebook said: “That’s the bottom part of a lava lamp with the contents congealed together and hard from being cold.”
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police has confirmed nothing has been reported to the police as of yet.
