POLICE seized a machete from a drink-driver who was hanging out a car window, while on patrol.
Officers working on Operation Jemlock - West Yorkshire Police's drive on targeting knife and violent crime - spotted the incident on Thursday evening.
A driver was hanging out of the window of their vehicle, as they were moving along the road.
Police stopped it as a result, in the Halifax area.
A search found that the driver had a machete.
He was arrested on suspicion of possessing a bladed article.
He was also arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and on suspicion of drug possession.
