BASINGSTOKE Town saw their game on Saturday at Cinderford postponed at due to fog.

Both teams warmed up for the game and having delayed the kick-off until 3.15pm to see it would clear and 15 minutes later had no choice, but to postpone the game.

At the end of the last week, the Southern League confirmed the Dragons would be deducted a point after played former goalkeeper Chris Rackley in the game at AFC Totton, when he should have been serving a one match for being sent-off.

The error came about as Town believed the shot stopper had served his suspension in the previous game to the Totton clash which was their Hampshire Senior Cup against AFC Bournemouth, only to learn that unlike in previous years this did not count as a senior game anymore.

So as Town drew 1-1 with AFC Totton, one point was deducted from Town's total this season, which has sent them to the bottom of the Southern League Division One South table.

Next for the Dragons in the league is a trip to Highworth this Saturday.
