AROUND 50 people attended a public meeting over noise pollution from motorbikes on two Hampshire roads.
Residents living on the A272 and A32 are regularly disturbed by the bikes, often with illegally modified silencers.
The meeting at West Meon village hall, organised by CANS (Campaign against Noise and Speed) was told of trials of acoustic cameras carried out late last year that would make catching rogue bikers easier.
Local city councillor Hugh Lumby told the Chronicle: "The next step should be for the Secretary of State to fund a wide ranging pilot scheme. This could lead to a template that could be rolled out across the country. That pilot should be carried out on our roads."
