All beat surgeries in Test Valley have been cancelled until further notice due to the coronavirus.

Due to government advice to practise social distancing as much as possible to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, all beat surgeries in the district of Test Valley have been "put on hold".

This affects the regular surgeries that are held in Stockbridge, West Tytherley and Braishfield.

A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "In line with government advice and the latest information from Public Health England we have made the decision to put our beat surgeries on hold for the time being. This affects the regular beat surgeries that we hold in Stockbridge, West Tytherley and Braishfield.

"We will let you know when we resume with our beat surgeries."

These meetings act as a chance for residents of the Test Valley area to voice their concerns and receive crime prevention advice from a team of Police Community Support Officers.
