A FREE business advice service is available for companies in Eastleigh trying to navigate the ever-changing business landscape caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

"Platform 4 Business Advice" is a free service provided by the Eastleigh Borough Council’s Business Centre, based at Wessex House, to help companies with advice and information.

Borough businesses may find it particularly helpful during this current period of uncertainty caused by the coronavirus outbreak and during this period of social distancing the service will continue to operate and support people online, offering advice and relevant information.

Launched at last summer’s Eastleigh Business Conference, Platform 4 is a one-stop service supporting newly formed or established companies.

Workers contacting the service will be able to chat live with an advisor between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday and outside business hours, users can post an enquiry that will be dealt with on the next working day.

Key features of Platform 4 include: access to Companies House and HMRC documentation, support for start-ups, downloadable business guides and templates, events information, and the latest business news. Users can also join discussion groups or even set up their own networks.

Businesses can register for this service online at :https://www.eastleigh.gov.uk/business/support-for-businesses/platform-4
