POLICE are warning residents after young people were seen riding mopeds and "getting involved in crime".
Officers say that there have been reports in the North Baddesley, Rownhams and Romsey areas that youngsters have been trying vehicle door handles and trying to steal a motorbike.
It comes after youths were seen riding motorbikes across graves in Hollybrook Cemetery, Southampton, and riding recklessly in the Lordswood area.
A statement by Test Valley Cops says: "We are aware that this has been well publicised on Social Media but if you see or hear about anything related to these issues please report this to us via 101 or report this to us online using the Hampshire Constabulary website in non emergency matters, for example if you see them riding around and you suspect they are up to no good.
"Only call 999 in an emergency matter - if something is happening there and then and you feel in fear of yours/others safety or if there is a risk to yours/others property."
