SIX people across Hampshire have died in the last 24 hours after testing positive for coronavirus.
Figures released by the NHS show that the death toll has risen to 544, up from 538 yesterday.
The statistics cover University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS), Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
At UHS, a total of 169 have now died in their care, up by four since the same time yesterday.
While there has been no increase in deaths at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since yesterday, where 148 have died.
Two people have died at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the last 24 hours, up to 210 in total.
Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust has recorded 17 patient deaths, with no increase since yesterday.
