THE family of two women killed earlier this week in Salisbury are appealing for help to raise thouands of pounds to bring their bodies back to Poland.

Nikoleta Zdun, 18, and her mother Aneta Zdun, 40, were killed in their home on Wessex Road on Monday.

Now, Rafal Rybinski, a cousin of Aneta's father, has now set up a fundraising page to help the family cover the costs of repatriating their bodies, and allow Aneta's two surviving children to be reunited with their grandparents.

So far, more than €10,000 (c.£8,951) has been donated.

In his appeal, Mr Rybinski said: "The fundraising was created to help [Aneta's] parents bring their bodies to Poland, which is a big expense.

"The fund is also to bring the surviving 2 daughters (5 and 6 years old) to Poland to be with the family.

"Please let us help this family in such a difficult period and in the face of such traumatic experience."

Marcin Zdun, who was arrested by police on Monday, appeared in court yesterday charged with the murder of his wife and daughter.

Appearing before Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court via video link from Melksham police station, the 39-year-old, of Wessex Road, entered no pleas to two charges of murder.

He is due to appear before Winchester Crown Court on Friday, June 5.

Anyone who wants to make a donation can do so here.
