POLICE were called to an address in Test Valley after getting reports of an outbuilding burglary.
Sometime between Friday June 5 and Saturday June 6, an unknown offender gained access to an outbuilding in Houghton in Test Valley.
Despite nothing being taken from the property, an untidy search was conducted and officers have now warned residents to consider their security measures.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "Please be aware that we have received a report of a non-dwelling burglary in Houghton. Offender(s) have entered an outbuilding belonging to a property between Friday June 5 and Saturday June 6. An untidy search has been conducted but no items have been taken.
"Please consider security measures that you can take to protect your home, garden and shed."
