THE New Forest is set to implement a recovery plan ensuring people can visit with confidence from July 4.
Anthony Climpson, CEO of Go New Forest, said: “Our member businesses have been working tirelessly throughout the period of lockdown to enable them to re-open safely, following the government’s change of advice, which is welcome news for those who rely on tourism for their livelihoods.
“We have also launched our ‘Take a Step Outside’ film, which depicts the beauty of the forest, and which stars our famous ponies.
“The film also reinforces our ‘book direct’ for the best prices message, and invites people to re-discover the natural world within the 220 square mile national park, which offers the freedom to escape, and where a warm welcome is guaranteed.”
To ensure that visitors get the best possible value for money whilst visiting the New Forest, a lot of the accommodations – many of which are dog friendly – are offering value-added packages, with a guarantee that the prices paid will be the lowest possible, if booked direct.
All the offers available from Go New Forest members can be found on the accommodation page at www.thenewforest.co.uk.
