HAMPSHIRE residents have been invited to submit their lockdown inspired art for the chance to be included in an art exhibition.
The "Big Pause" competition, organised by the Artful Collective, aims to bring together artwork that has been inspired by or created during the coronavirus lockdown, and the resulting exhibition will celebrate the importance that creativity has played for many people during the pandemic as a tool for wellbeing and expression.
There will be prizes awarded for the Judges Choice (£200) and two runners up (£50 each), which have donated by Test Valley Arts Foundation, and anyone over the age of 16 is eligible to enter the competition before the closing date of August 9.
Entries can be in any visual art or craft discipline, and there is an entry fee of £5 per person.
Around 25% of the entry fee and exhibition sales will be donated to the organiser’s chosen charity - Hope In Depression.
