IT IS the night where thousands of students are decked out in smart suits and dazzling dresses.
Ferraris, limos and BMWs are just some of the vehicles teenagers choose to make their grand entrance at their year 11 prom.
However, this year proms have come to a grinding halt, due to the coronavirus crisis.
Now, we have taken a look though the Romsey Advertiser prom archives to find The Mountbatten School's prom photos from last year in a bid to bring back happy memories.
