A ROMSEY care home could host a mini food festival in a matter of weeks, it has been revealed.
Abbotswood Court Care Home, Minchin Road, is calling on people who would like to sell their food at one of their stalls on Saturday, September 26.
The care home said they will have "around 13 stalls" on offer for anyone who wants to take part in the event, if it is given the green light.
Home admissions advisor for Abbotswood Court Care Home, Annya Sait, said: "We recognise that there has been a shortage of such community events and are hoping this will attract a good number of local people seeking wonderful, local produce.
"I am at the stage of gauging interest from suppliers before we set plans in stone."
She added they have "limited space" and estimate it would be "around 13 stalls" - one of each type of produce.
