TWO more people tested positive for coronavirus in Southampton in the 24 hours leading up to 4pm on September 7, latest figures have confirmed.
Across Hampshire, 18 people tested positive for the virus.
Data released by the government daily shows throughout the course of the pandemic, 1,029 people have now tested positive for the virus in Southampton.
This gives a rate of 407.5 cases per 100,000 people.
In Eastleigh, four people tested positive, taking the total to 470 and giving a rate of 351.8 per 100,000 people.
Seven people returned positive tests for the virus in the New Forest, taking the total to 524 and giving a rate of 291 per 100,000.
Nobody tested positive in Winchester, meaning the number of cases remained at 518.
In Portsmouth, four people tested positive, one in Fareham and none in Gosport.
Data released by NHS England showed that nobody died in hospitals across the county on September 6, however that could be subject to change.
