POLICE hunting for a missing Hampshire man have found a body.
Officers launched an appeal to find Alexander Hayter who had gone missing from his home.
They appealed for help in finding him as his family grew "extremely worried about his welfare".
The 21-year-old had not been seen since leaving his home address in Manor Close, Abbotts Ann around 3pm on Friday.
But today Hampshire Police confirmed that they had found a body.
A statement said: "Officers searching for missing Alexander Hayter from Abbotts Ann have today found a body.
"Formal identification has not yet taken place, but his family have been informed and are being supported by officers.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file shall be prepared for the coroner."
