A MAN has suffered serious injuries after crashing into a field in Romsey yesterday afternoon.
The pilot, who is in his 60s, colliding into a field close to Gardeners Lane at around 4.20pm.
He was taken to Southampton General Hospital after crashing his light aircraft but does not have life-threatening injuries, according to Hampshire police.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary added "there is no investigation being carried out by officers" following the incident.
It is not known how long the road was closed off.
South Central Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
