A ROMSEY man who assaulted and harassed a woman has been handed a restraining order.
Terry James King assaulted a woman in Romsey on August 9.
On August 16, the 37-year-old then damaged his victim's door.
King then harassed the woman for more than a week between August 23 and September 1.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating, one count of harassment, and one count of causing damage to personal property.
King, of Priestlands, Romsey, was handed a restraining order banning him form contacting his victim for two years.
He was also ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work and pay £50 compensation.
He was ordered to pay £150 court costs.
