A WOMAN has been racially abused and had a throat cutting gesture made at her.
The incident happened last Wednesday at 9am on Sycamore Avenue, Chandler's Ford.
A woman was removing a car seat from her vehicle when an unknown man pulled up alongside her.
Police say the man started to verbally abuse the woman, abandoning his vehicle to follow her across the road.
He is then said to have racially abused her and made a throat cutting hand gesture before returning to his vehicle.
Police are now appealing for witnesses in relation to the altercation.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, approximately 5ft 6” and had blonde hair with a quiff.
He was also said to be wearing blue jeans, covered with paint, and a white hoody.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "Were you in the area at the time? Did you witness the incident? Do you have any dash cam or CCTV footage of the incident?
