RESIDENTS across Test Valley are being urged by the police to remain vigilant following a spate of outbuilding burglaries.
Hampshire police were alerted to the break-ins in rural areas in Stockbridge and Up Somborne over the last few days.
Offenders forced their way into sheds and outbuildings where tools and garden equipment were targeted.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: "If you can, mark any items with distinguishing features, like a postcode and house number.
"Be vigilant for any suspicious vehicles or person(s) and report to the police via 101.
"If you disturb anyone in the act of breaking in to a shed or outbuilding, please call 999."
