In an article published on the Romsey Advertiser website on Sunday (November 22) regarding MPs’ allowances we wrongly stated that Paul Holmes, the Conservative MP for Eastleigh, had received donations from three donors totalling £2,000.
It was also incorrectly stated that the MP had received a payment of £980.31 from Luton Borough Council and that he has a property portfolio value of over £100,000 and/or a rental income of over £10,000 a year from a house in Luton, used also for his partner's business.
We are happy to clarify that this is not the case and we apologise for the error.
