UPDATE: She has now been found

A SEARCH has been launched for a missing teenager from Southampton. 

Alesha, 14, was reported missing yesterday afternoon. 

She was last seen at around 3pm today near Winston Churchill Avenue in Portsmouth. 

She is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, with dark brown hair which is shaved at the back and sides and around 4ins long on top.

Both her two front teeth are chipped and she has a birth mark on the back of her left hand. 

She was last seen wearing her school uniform consisting of black trousers and a white shirt, as well as a black coat with a fur trim, black Vans shoes, and a black ‘man bag’.

A police spokesperson said: "We are concerned about her and are asking members of the public to report any further sightings of her to us.

"If you have seen her, or know where she is, please contact police on 101 quoting 44200455296."
