A MAN has been charged after a firearms incident in a Southampton restaurant.
The incident is said to have taken place at around last Saturday.
A man allegedly entered Pizza House restaurant on St Mary's Street and had an exchange with a customer inside.
He is said to have then pulled a handgun from his waistband before leaving again.
Yesterday Samuel Boylan, 31, of Honeysuckle Road, Southampton, was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Boylan appeared before Southampton Magistrates’ Court this morning.
He has been remanded to appear at Southampton Crown Court on December 23.
