A FURTHER 200 new positive cases have been recorded in Hampshire.

Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website - show that, as of 4pm today, 214 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.

The figures come as testing increases across the county.

The health body is now including Pillar 2 tests – those carried out by commercial partners – alongside Pillar 1 tests, which are analysed in NHS or PHE laboratories and which made up the first stage of the Government's mass testing programme.
