MORE than 100 new positive cases have been recorded in Hampshire.

Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website at 4.45pm today (November 30) - show that 139 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.

It comes as testing increases across the country.

The health body is now including Pillar 2 tests – those carried out by commercial partners – alongside Pillar 1 tests, which are analysed in NHS or PHE laboratories and which made up the first stage of the Government's mass testing programme.

Basingstoke and Deane: 24 (2,424 in total since start of pandemic)

East Hampshire: 6 (1,506)

Eastleigh: 8 (1,650)

Fareham: 11 (1,373)

Gosport: 12 (1,050)

Hart: 8 (972)

Havant: 12 (1,730)

New Forest: 7 (1,823)

Portsmouth: 24 (4,354)
