A SOUTHAMPTON man has been banned from the roads after he was caught drink driving.
Paul Marius Andrei was caught drink driving on Thomas Lewis Way, Southampton, on April 6 and failed to provide a blood sample to police.
The 27-year-old was found to have 82 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to drink driving and failing to provide a blood sample.
Andrei, of Bullington Road, Southampton, was disqualified from driving for 24 months and fined £600.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and court costs of £300.
