TWO MEN have been slapped with fines for fishing without a licence.
Nick Donnelly and Thomas Byfield were caught fishing without a licence on the River Test flowing through Romsey Memorial Park, Romsey.
Donnelly, 22, of Tadburn Road and Byfield, 23, of Jenner Road in Romsey were both proved guilty of the offence which happened on May 30 this year.
They were each fined £100 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £135 court costs when their cases were dealt with at Southampton Magistrates Court.
