GLASTONBURY Festival's organisers have revealed the event has been cancelled this year, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement posted on the festival’s official Twitter account, organisers explained "with great regret" they have called off this year's event in spite of their efforts to "move Heaven & Earth".
The message from father and daughter team Michael and Emily Eavis added tickets for this year will roll over to next year.
The statement added customers who bought a ticket in October 2019 will be given the opportunity to roll their £50 deposit over to next year, and guarantee the chance to buy a ticket for Glastonbury 2022.
