OFFICERS arrested a motorist who was caught drink-driving, while breaching lockdown rules at the weekend.
A Facebook post by Test Valley Cops revealed after a pursuit the driver was arrested in Timsbury for being "over the limit" and making an "unnecessary journey during the Covid-19 emergency".
The post reads: "The Rural Team have been stopping vehicles in Timsbury as part of our #OpWerewolf burglary patrols.
"Someone didn't seem to want to stop and talk to #SgtTaylor and #PCSOCleary.
"We felt differently."
The arrest was made on Friday, January 22.
Hampshire police has been contacted for comment.
