CHILDREN at a Romsey school have been beaming from ear to ear after watching a video designed to help keep their spirits high in lockdown.

Staff at Cupernham Infant School, Bransley Close, can be seen in their YouTube creation telling pupils they miss them and are eager to welcome them back to the classroom.

The video features Anna Kendrick's upbeat song 'Get Back Up Again' and sees teachers engaged in online learning, while also spreading joy throughout the school.

In some scenes, staff can be seen riding little bikes, playing with hula hoops and waving to pupils in their final shot while socially distancing.

A spokesperson from the school said: "It is an incredibly tough time for teachers and I am so proud that through this my team is able to spread happiness and joy to Romsey."
