BRACE yourselves – it is going to be one windy week.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for wind across the whole of England and Wales.

Those in Winchester and the rest of Hampshire should stay cautious on Wednesday (March 10) and Thursday (March 11).

This is when strong winds accompanied by heavy and blustery showers are expected to hit.

Residents are likely to experience delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges; some short term loss of power and other services; delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport and some bus and train services may be impacted, with some journeys taking longer.
