BORIS Johnson will lead a Downing Street coronavirus press conference this afternoon, it has been confirmed.
The Prime Minister will address the nation at 4pm and is expected to talk about the return to in-person classes for eight million pupils in England today.
During the national lockdown, only vulnerable or key workers' children could go to school, while remaining children had to learn at home.
