The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning this week with 70mph winds and heavy showers expected to batter Romsey and Hampshire later this week.
The weather forecaster has moved to issue a yellow weather warning for wind across tomorrow (March 10) and Thursday (March 11).
The public are warned this could lead to long traffic delays with roads likely to be impacted by the severe weather later this week.
In Romsey, gusts of up to 41mph are forecast overnight on Wednesday into Thursday.

The weather warning will be in force from 9pm tomorrow until 3pm on Thursday.
The unsettled weather could lead to some short term loss of power and delays to transport services.
