Limit: The defendant was over the limit for cannabis
A DRUG driver caught in Winchester has received a 12-month ban.
Stuart Anthony James Abbotts was in a 59-reg VW Golf when stopped by the police on St Cross Road on August 13 last year.
Tested for cannabis his reading was 6.9ug/l when the legal limit is 2ug/l.
Abbotts, 27, of Bitterne Road West, Southampton, appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court to plead guilty and was fined £120 with a £34 victim surcharge and £25 costs
