POLICE are on the hunt for burglars after a minibus was stolen from a Romsey youth group this week.

The force was alerted at 8am on Tuesday (March 9) to reports of a burglary at Romsey Sea Cadets, Southampton Road.

It is believed offenders forced their way into the grounds between 5pm on Monday (March 8), and 7am on Tuesday.

Officers are now investigating the crime and have already made a number of enquiries.

Hampshire Constabulary is now appealing to the public for information.

A spokesperson said: "Do you remember seeing someone suspicious in the area at the time? Perhaps you’ve seen a Romsey Sea Cadets bus since it happened?
