A NURSING and care agency has launched a new Live-in care service to help vulnerable people remain in their homes.

Nurseplus UK has launched its Live-in care service in Hampshire which it says is "a practical and affordable alternative to a residential setting".

The service aims to deliver care and confidence to vulnerable people and peace of mind to their families that loved ones are kept safe, well and can remain in their own homes.

The company claims that over the last few years, market trends for the care sector have moved away from traditional care and nursing homes and into private residences.

Now, with the new service will use an enhanced client matching programme so that homecare workers are placed with clients based on clinical need as well as likes, dislikes, hobbies and interests.

Andrea Morgan, Business Development Manager of Nurseplus Care at home said: “At Nurseplus we understand that being able to remain at home is really important, not only for general wellbeing, but also to reassure loved ones and give them piece of mind.

"Following from the successful launch of Care at home which supports vulnerable individuals and helps them to regain their independence at home, our Live-in care service provides a holistic approach to homecare and a practical alternative to a residential setting.”
