HAMPSHIRE and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance will be collecting donations from across Test Valley later this month.
Volunteers are set to pick up clothing and shoes for the lifesaving charity on June 22nd and are urging residents to book in a slot.
This is a contactless service and residents do not have to be at home.
A spokesperson said: “Help support a fantastic charity. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance will receive at least £210 for every tonne of clothing collected.
“We accept adult and children items which are in good condition (anything which be reused).
“We accept clothing, shoes, bags, belts, hats, and bras. Please try and donate three bags or more to make our collection routes as efficient as possible.”
The funds raised will help the charity deliver the helicopter, crew and critical care team to provide advanced care to sick and injured people.
To book a collection, send your full address and number of bags to be collected to hiowaa@recyclingsolutions.org.uk, or use the online form at: https://www.hiowaa.org/get-involved/recycle/.
The spokesperson added: “If you have any questions, we are happy to help: hiowaa@recyclingsolutions.org.uk,”
