Katherine Jenkins OBE, is coming to Romsey and is set to perform at Embley Park on Sunday August 22.

She will bring a Summer Concert of classical music, musical theatre and a Proms finale, with orchestra to raise funds for charity.

She will be joined by a special guest, West End star, John Owen-Jones, best known for his record-breaking performances as Valjean in Les Misérables and the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera.

As previously reported in the Romsey Advertiser, the concert is part of the fund-raising weekend, A Celebration of Speed, an organisation linked with Goodwood’s festival of Speed, which aims to raise funds for two causes, Sir Jackie Stewart’s charity Race Against Dementia and local children’s hospice Naomi House and Jack’s Place.

Event Director, Mike Turnbull said: “We are really thrilled to have Katherine Jenkins headline such a prestigious event for us. She is a such a unique talent, and it is very special to have her perform for us here in Romsey and help raise funds for two such important charities.”

Guests are invited to come to the event and enjoy a two-course supper by Michelin Star chef Tom Kerridge’s team and wines by Berry Bros & Rudd with a charity auction hosted by Charles Hanson, or purchase VIP hampers or picnic boxes to enjoy prior to the concert.
