A BUS company had to reroute services due two hour delays caused by "stationary traffic" in Poole.
Morebus, which provides various routes across the conurbation, said the issue affected its 8, 8X and 9 services.
The traffic issues had arisen in Blandford Road, Hamworthy.
Providing a service update on Wednesday evening, Morebus's website said: "Unfortunately due to two hour delays on Blandford Road, Hamworthy, towards Upton due to stationary traffic we have not been able to run our services as well as expected this afternoon.

"Route 8 is currently running from Poole bus station to Carters Quay then non-stop to Turlin Moor where buses will turn around and continue on to Poole via Upton and Creekmoor as usual.
"Route 9 buses are running as normal but all are terminating at Turlin Moor.
"We are very sorry for the disruption that is beyond our control."
As reported, weeks of work by Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks are taking place in Blandford Road, with one side of the road still shut off until the end of the month.
