The Jenna Marie Foundation received outstanding community support at their first ever event.

The event held at the Romsey Town Football Club on Sunday August 29 raised over five thousand pounds to be used to kickstart the foundation which aims to give support across various cancer charities including Romsey’s Jane Scarth House.

Cally Wilkinson, Jenna Maries’ sister said on social media: “Sunday’s family fun day raising money for the Jenna Marie Foundation `Never too Young` was a great success, even better than we could ever of imagined, raising a grand total of £5664.04p which means we now have over £7000 to start our foundation.

“Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Those who attended the event were able to take part in a few games of rounders, enjoy a barbecue and listen to The Romsey old-Cadets as they played their first set since pre lockdown.
