A WOMAN from Romsey has completed her hypnotherapy training to provide a service in the local area.

Kay Hendy completed her training with Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training in Hampshire earlier this year and is now ready to provide services to the community.

Kay completed more than 400 hours of study and clinical practice to achieve her Diploma for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy as well as the additional accredited Hypnotherapy in Practice Diploma from the National Council for Hypnotherapy.

Kay said: “Due to lockdown most of our training took place remotely via Zoom. This has just confirmed how effective hypnotherapy can be when clients receive it online in the comfort of their own homes.

“I’ve been amazed at the life-changing results that hypnotherapy can bring about in only a few sessions, including helping my partner to finally give up smoking so easily!

“With Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH), we look at what the client wants to achieve rather than on the problems that prompted them to seek change.”

Kay explained how SFH focuses on the present and the future and not on the past, empowering the client to identify their ideal future and the small, practical steps they can take.

She continues: “Lockdown has caused so many people to suffer with mental health problems, but I’m really looking forward to being able to help people find a way forward.”

Kays service is open to a range of conditions including anxiety, lack of confidence, low mood, weight management, panic attacks, pain management as well as phobias and stopping smoking.

Sessions can be offered face to face in the Romsey area or online.

Kay is offering a free Initial Consultation and complementary relaxation MP3 to the first 5 people to contact her who mention this article in the Romsey Advertiser.
