Sarah Rowcliffe of Jane Scarth House said in her speech on the night: "We're very grateful to have been chosen and are delighted to be here tonight."

"It's been such a difficult 18 months for everybody,. Regrettably, clinical treatments were either cancelled or postponed and people were not able to come together to grieve which was the saddest thing of all. The charity needed to organise and that's what we did. our team worked from home."

The master of ceremonies for the evening was Steve Randall, a radio presenter in Hampshire and guest speaker of the evening was Romsey and Southampton North MP Caroline Nokes who was chosen for the work she had done throughout the pandemic to support local businesses.

MP Caroline said: "The last 18 months have been phenomenally tough for businesses. believe me, I know it's been tough and I know local businesses we love have ceased training.

"I found out when Tesco couldn't provide flour, Braishfield could. I learned some fantastic entrepreneurs in Test Valley could turn out PPE ahead of Matt Hancock.

"Congratulations to all of you."
