A NEW technology repair centre has opened its doors at the old card shop in North Baddesley.
The Tech Hub, a new technology repair centre, opened its doors last Saturday and has already repaired everything from mobile phones and tablets, to a memory stick that was snapped in half.
A family run business, it has been set up by Leon Cass, an IT professional who said due to current climate developments and then Covid, he decided it would be the right time to leave full time employment and start a repair usiness.
He added that due to people being more conscious than ever about the negative impacts of throwing away broken gadgets, the business was a "no brainer".
Based at Seymour Parade on Seymour Lane, the business held an open day at the weekend.
Leon told the Echo: “I am so pleased with the warm welcome we have received from the local community and look forward to serving them as best we can. I feel our services are valued and provide people with a choice to extend the life of the gizmos and gadgets!"
