A TRAINEE from Romsey has passed his exams with a financial management firm opening the door to his career.

Romsey and Poole based accountancy firm Clear Vision Financial Management is celebrating success after Dan Robertson and James Burville completed their AAT Level 4 qualification this year.

Dan Robertson joined the Romsey office of Clear Vision Financial Management in September 2017 as a trainee accountant after completing his A Levels at Peter Symonds College. He was promoted to senior client account manager in 2020.

During his time at Clear Vision Financial Management, Dan has provided accounting services to a wide variety of clients including coding and posting of purchase invoices, raising sales invoices and completing and submitting VAT returns and posting of journals to the ledgers.

Now he’s working alongside the management team to assist with the production of management accounts, statutory accounts, corporation tax returns and personal tax returns.

Joining the team as a bookkeeper in the middle of the first lockdown, James Burville has also completed the AAT Level 4 qualification. James works closely with a number of clients providing bookkeeping, payroll and VAT services.

As a growing business, Clear Vision Financial Management provides training opportunities to various members of the team to ensure they receive the technical training required to support their clients.

Sean Daniel, Managing Director said, “Despite a busy period for the business Dan and James have both completed their AAT Level 4 qualification allowing us to provide an excellent service to our growing client base.”
